What’s Jewish about Justice—Social justice might look like a purely secular value but it has long-standing roots in Jewish texts and tradition.  Using a variety of traditional and contemporary texts, we will build a progressive Jewish framework for looking at some of the most pressing justice issues in society.  Topics include:  power and privilege, classism, racism, gender and sexuality, and food politics.
