Baruch Hillel wants to let you know about a great new Jewish networking service on the Internet that serves people nationwide. The website is www.J-Sitter.com and is a place for Jewish families to find Jewish sitters in their area. Whether a person needs a babysitter, pet sitter or house sitter, they will be able to find it all on J-Sitter. Not only will this provide parents an easy way to find the relief they need, but it allows a place for people to find jobs as well. I believe this would be a helpful site for you if you are looking for a full or part-time job, baby sitting, pet sitting, or house sitting. This is a great website that can help hillel students who are in school, but looking for a great way to make money while earning their education.
How it works. For sitters, they will create a profile, which will include their skills and qualifications, as well as their experience. They will then be able to search jobs that parents and families have posted, as well as give the families access to their profile. For safety reasons, there is a recommendation page that urges the sitters to meet their potential employers in a public place, as well as provide references on both sides.
